Following the culture, Adarsh School has successfully conducted the Talent Hunt 2076, today on 24th of Magh, 2076. The program was divided into two phases; 1. official program and 2. talent hunt. The official program was conducted by the Master of Ceremony (EmCee) Mr.  Ramjeet Chaudhary. Mr. Sanjay Thapa, the founding member of Adarsh Secondary School was the chairperson. With the lightning ceremony, welcome speech and good luck speeches, the official program was ended by the chairperson of the program, Mr. Sanjay Thapa.

There were a total of 47 contestants participating in four different scopes of art; dancing, singing, acting and beat-boxing. The management of the crowd in the audience was well done. Hats off to the hardships of the Volunteers, who selflessly devoted their energy, soul and time for the grand success of the program.

The Talent Hunt, with great excitement was conducted by 6 hosts, each divided in a pair and hosted in 3 turns. The first part of the program was hosted by Hosts; Mr. Pramish Gautam and Ms. Pracharika KC. The middle part of the program was hosted by Hosts: Mr. Lebin Lamichhane and Ms. Shristi Sapkota. The final part of the program was hosted by Hosts. Ms. Aastha Jaiswal and Ms. Mahi Rana Magar.

Hosts: Mr. Pramish Gautam and Ms. Pracharika KC

So, now let us talk about my own personal remarks to the program:

  • Management: The management was lit. The volunteers, teachers and non-teaching staffs jointly did their best and were successful in managing the crowd pretty well. So, I won't complain in it.
  • Duration: The program started at the accurate time and ended sooner as expected. The management committee did it best for maintaining accuracy in the program.
  • Participants: There was energy among the participants. They had a strong will to win regardless of their competitor's capability.
  • Audience: The audience was small but they didn't leave any complaints in supporting the participants.
Overall, the program was really successful from my point of view. [ a student's point of view as an audience]

SAT: Self-Preparation or Institute?

The Scholarship Aptitude Test (SAT), organized by the College Board, is a foundational stone in college application for Undergraduate Studies, especially in the United States. For many, the SAT could be a differentiating factor between a successful admission cycle and an unsuccessful one. Moreover, several universities offer scholarships to incoming undergraduate freshman based on their SAT scores. How does an SAT look like? An SAT test, now digital, comprises   questions from English and Mathematics. In a nutshell, it is divided into two sections: English Based Reading and Writing (abbreviated as EBRW) and Mathematics. Each section is worth 800 points, making the test worth 1600 points. How to prepare for the SAT? Let us delve into this question section-wise. English Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) For international students who are not native English speakers, this section could be challenging. In everyday communication, these students often believe in "go with the option that ...

An Incubate-eeeeeee

Getting accepted into Incubate Nepal Before I begin, let me ask you, “Did you know that I was accepted to the cohort of Incubate Nepal 2023?”. Most of you would say, “No!”; leaving a few who had messaged me to learn about my application status. Everyone knows this still, I am emphasizing it, “The public does not know your achievements unless you share them.” What conclusion can you draw from this? Well, if you want to keep something private, just don’t share it on social media. That’s all! Moral lessons apart, how would you react if your application was reviewed by a Harvard alumnus and received a mail stating that you have been shortlisted for the interview process? Awesome? Would you jump out of excitement? It’s totally normal to get overwhelmed in these situations, isn’t it? So, I consider myself abnormal. I didn’t react much to hearing the decision. Perhaps, it could be because the decision was sent in the morning and not at midnight. Had it ...
