Unemployment in Nepal - ExamTime Essays

Question: Write an essay on 'Unemployment in Nepal' in about 450 words.

Total Words: 440

The world has progressed from the medieval age to the modern age, which has increased our focus on the economy. Today, everyone wishes to become rich so, unemployment has been seen as a major problem in developing countries because of the inability of people to find expertise in any field. It is being faced by Nepal, as well.

At present, millions of Nepalese are jobless and have been migrating to India, the Middle East, and other countries. However, this does not end the problem of unemployment in Nepal. Out of the 30 million population of Nepal, nearly 1-2% of the people are unemployed. It has led to the rise in poverty level, the spread of diseases, and other socio-economic problems.

Illiteracy is not the major cause of this problem. Indeed, lack of technical education is. Schools in Nepal have been developing minds that get employed in other institutions. However, when it comes to entrepreneurship, all those so-called bright and intellectual minds fade away. The population is growing fast, if not rapidly, but the country hasn't been able to mobilize the existing resources for the prosperity of the citizens.

There are no more jobs in the country. All skilled workers produced by education have no worth in Nepal. They do not get what they had invested. It is fact that around 50 lakhs Nepalese rupees are used to study the course of the doctor. In such a condition, jobs that pay 5 figure income are not sufficient for those personnel.

Nepal lacks the concept of Human Resource Management. It is said that no more manpower should be produced in jobs that already have much manpower. Since the Nepal government is not able to solve such problems, it increases the number of governmental organizations to employ more youths. But, this, in turn, causes an increase in the country's expenditure and the country gets financially weaker. So, it cannot provide incentives to those who dare to do something within the country.

It is not easy to solve this problem, yet, it isn't too hard. The country should focus on technical and vocational education, focus to build the connection between the rich and the poor, and control the population growth. Similarly, industrialists should encourage other entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into action and create massive job opportunities. Moreover, individuals should be self-motivated and encouraged to work.

To sum up, unemployment in Nepal is a burning issue due to the inability of the government, state, and the people to utilize their potential to the optimum level. If the financial capital can be well utilized to establish industries and factories, sustainably, the problem of unemployment can be minimized in Nepal.

An SAT test, now digital, comprises   questions from English and Mathematics. In a nutshell, it is divided into two sections: English Based Reading and Writing (abbreviated as EBRW) and Mathematics. Each section is worth 800 points, making the test worth 1600 points. How to prepare for the SAT? Let us delve into this question section-wise. English Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) For international students who are not native English speakers, this section could be challenging. An Incubate-eeeeeee

Getting accepted into Incubate Nepal Before I begin, let me ask you, “Did you know that I was accepted to the cohort of Incubate Nepal 2023?”. Most of you would say, “No!”; leaving a few who had messaged me to learn about my application status. Everyone knows this still, I am emphasizing it, “The public does not know your achievements unless you share them.” What conclusion can you draw from this? Well, if you want to keep something private, just don’t share it on social media. That’s all! Moral lessons apart, how would you react if your application was reviewed by a Harvard alumnus and received a mail stating that you have been shortlisted for the interview process? Awesome? Would you jump out of excitement? It’s totally normal to get overwhelmed in these situations, isn’t it? So, I consider myself abnormal. I didn’t react much to hearing the decision. Perhaps, it could be because the decision was sent in the morning and not at midnight. Had it ...
