I hate procrastination! It was back in November of 2022 when I thought of writing this post. I had attended my first ever Model United Nations (MUN) - St. Xavier's College MUN - and yet received the Best Reporter Award from the International Press Committee. I was driven to write a post and even create a YouTube video sharing the inexpressible joy. Nonetheless, it never happened, and came the second MUN of my life - Kathmandu World School MUN - a MUN that had really good hype. Again, the motivation I gained from the first MUN was already pushing me to my second award at the second MUN. Indeed, it happened. I won the Best Reporter award at this MUN, too. Having a crush on someone has a separate inexpressible joy. But, isn't it just the external appearances that captivated your sight? It is too easy to have a crush on someone but it is the external environment that urges your sense to feel pretty about him/her. Imagine seeing your crush dressed in a poor, old, and ragged clothes for the first time. You'd be disgusted and would want to maintain distance against him/her. Now, remember the time you saw them for the first time. They must be well-dressed, perfectly neat and clean, smart-looking and handsome/beautiful. So, your senses got captivated to that external view. Must be that your mood was charming at the very time. You were surrounded by optimistic people. So, don't fall for these short-lived emotions. They are act set up to deceive you from your goals. Have a clear target of achieving your goal. Let these small acts go away. Stay focused! "Don't judge a person by their rank in their class." You cannot compare a degree holder with Einstein, who was a dropout from the institution nor with Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Company. You never know when the pendulum shifts to your side neither do you know when it goes against you. Have dedication, passion and belief, nothing is impossible to achieve! I wrote this quote back when I was in Grade 10. It was a normal day in the school but not a normal night for me. I still remember I had been watching videos of World War II to ease myself with the topics mentioned in the textbook. I was very fond of watching Hitler and Mussolini. Then, I was suggested a video of Stephen Hawkins who not the brightest in his class. He was even criticized by his teachers. Nonetheless, he is remembered.

1 June, 2021 (18 Jestha, 2078) After months long preparation for the final examination of Grade 10 - the Secondary Education Examination, I heard that the examination would undergo internal evaluation from the school committee and that would determine the final results of this Board Examination. I think I should have been sad for it. But, I wasn't. Instead, I was very happy because - The Pressure was finally RELEASED! I woke up at around 7:30 in the morning. The sky was clear and it was a sunny morning, like every other summer day in my town. I was so stressed with all the preparations for the SEE which had no signs of happening this year. I was 99% sure that the examination would not be held but that little 1% haunted me every day for so long. But, no longer. Along with the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic in Nepal, various misleading articles, news, and media have been diverting the students, making them believe that the Secondary Education Examination (S.E.E.) will be cancelled this year, too. Instead of motivating the students to focus on readings, writings, and other recreational or creative activities, these media have been influencing them to support in an irrational campaign - Say No To SEE. No one, be it a teacher or a student, shall engage in such campaigns unless the media have been providing partial news or updates, that only cover the words of a particular topic and leaves the rest one. For example: a person A said, "We will conduct the SEE when the condition gets back to normal." And person B suggested that the SEE should be cancelled.
